Start with a release check

Share your app's purpose, current build, and intended audience. I review readiness and confirm the publishing route. You provide a working app, accurate privacy and data information, store materials, and authorization to publish its content. The arrangement must meet Google's requirements; its guidance on publishing apps for clients helps explain the account options.

Will my app need closed testing?

Google's specific requirement for personal accounts created after November 13, 2023 is 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days before applying for production access. An older eligible account may not have that specific requirement. Testing needs are checked for each app; see Google's testing requirements.

Can the app move to my own account later?

Yes, subject to eligibility and Google's review. Both developer accounts must be registered and active. We agree on the transfer scope and check any connected services before submitting the request, following Google's app transfer process.
